The Hound of the Baskervilles

Sherlock Holmes ‘died’ a few years before this story was written although it is set before his ‘fatal’ meeting with Moriarty at the Reichenbach Falls.

A doctor from the depths of Dartmoor asks Sherlock Holmes for his help in protecting the new Lord of Baskerville Hall. Holmes is involved in another case but sends Dr Watson to investigate and to keep Holmes informed of what he finds out.

This story is considered by many to be Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s finest.
