Celebrating Sherlock Holmes and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle

The Timelines from 'before 1700' to '1894' are now complete as well as brief outlines of A Study in Scarlet, The Sign of Four and The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes. The details of my collection now include some reference, the Complete Sherlock Holmes and the Annotated Sherlock Holmes books as well as my A Study in Scarlet,  The Sign of Four and Adventures of Sherlock Holmes books.

The biggest amount of work has gone into the cross referencing of people, objects and locations within the first two novels. I'm currently working on the cross referencing for 'The Adventure' short stories. Access this area from 'The Canon' menu.
Sherlock Holmes

London's first 'Consulting Detective'. He took rooms with Dr Watson at 221B Baker Street and from there these two gentleman enjoyed many and varied adventures.

Sir Arthur Conan Doyle

Born in Edinburgh where he also went to University, before moving south to England and taking up his medical duties. When things didn't quite work out the way he expected he started to write, the rest is the stuff of legends!
This site looks at the plots and characters of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's original writings as well as the adaptations on films, radio, etc.

It will also look at the life of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle as well as all the other things that he wrote about and championed.

All sources for the information on this website are the books, films, documentaries, etc that are listed under 'My Collection'
